Who knew that those black bananas we have been throwing away are powerful antioxidants and reduce inflammation! The most common cause of disease in the Western world.
Make a banana pancake! Take one brown banana, two organic egg whites (or applesauce for vegan) and 3 tablespoons oats - mix together and put in a hot pan with some cold press coconut oil. Delicious! Can add cinnamon or coconut flakes.

I teach my patients that potatoes are not bad. It depends on what you cook them in or put on them that makes them bad. Colored potatoes - sweet, yams or blue are more nutritious than white. Small potatoes have less carbs than large ones. Adding butter is animal fat and inflammatory. Only thing worse than that is fat that has been heated over 700 degrees F, like fast foods, creates trans fats which are very inflammatory and unhealthy. I use organic oat butter or nut butter by Miyoko on my potatoes - yummy and healthy. 😋 yummy 😋😋😋😋😋😋

Healthy foods have in common their nutrient density. To be nutrient dense they need to be organic grown in microbiome rich soil. Healthy foods like blueberries, ginger, chocolate have intense antioxidants.
Lemons are cleansing and full of vitamin C they also alkalinize the system. Other foods like walnuts, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, avocados and coconut are healthy because of their oils and fats.

These foods can help a “stomachache” depending on the cause. Papaya can help maldigestion because it contains enzymes. The texture and emollient properties of plant based milks; coconut, oat, almond can soothe an irritated stomach lining. Almost burnt toast can chelate toxins. Not listed apple cider vinegar: 1 TBS in warm water as tea helps digestion. Ginger is an ancient asian remedy for nausea.

The main root cause of chronic disease in the Western World is poor diet. Poor diet with imbalances omega fatty acids is one of the biggest factors. The SAD. - Standard American Diet has too much omega 6 and not enough omega 3. To have properly functioning cell membranes and controlled inflammation you need a balance of omegas 3, 6, 9 and 7 (seeds!. Omega 3 from plants is good sourcing as deep sea fish are now toxic because of ocean pollution.

Food is definitely medicine! We need to know the codes Nature is giving us. Often food is medicine for the organ it looks like. Walnuts look like brains (good fats help brain function), carrots resemble eyes (Carotenoids help eye function). See chart. Another important way food or nature communicates to us is color. Knowing the rainbow messages of food is like having a medicine chest at your immediate access. Purple foods contain anthocyanins which are powerful antioxidants - fight inflammation and cancer, squelch free radicals. Green foods contain detoxification molecules - remove heavy metals and other to toxins. These are just a few examples. Learn the rainbow codes of foods and have medicines at your fingertips! 🌈 🌈🌈

A few fun food facts! Doesn’t matter that tomatoes are fruits. What matters is they are a very potent source of my lycopene, a crucial antioxidant for preventing chronic diseases esp the big 3 : diabetes, heart disease and cancer!
Figs are an amazingly rich source of calcium without the down side of toxins from milk products.
Orange oil can be used as an effective cleansing agent and even better repels invasive insects like termites and ants and those that bite humans and spread diseases that like mosquitoes. And the oil is nontoxic and doesn’t harm humans or animals . I used it in the Amazon to protect myself and clan from malaria.
