The Friends of the Torrance Library is a non-profit group that supports the Torrance Public Library. We were organized in 1968 as a 501(c)(3) corporation.
Through our book and media sales, we help support the library's efforts to promote literacy and education in the community. Please join us for our next book sale, which will include almost every category of books, including textbooks. Our hardback fiction, sci-fi and mystery books are alphabetized by author. In addition to games and puzzles, we also sell DVDs, CDs, records and videotapes.
BYOB – Not what you think! Charging for grocery bags means we collect fewer to hand out. Help us by bringing your own bag.
Special Books – Cookbooks at $.50
We have a large number of cookbooks. We are selling at a special price.
Our bag sale will be held on Saturday, from 3 to 5 p.m. Fill a paper grocery bag with any combination of books, CDs, DVDs or tapes for only $5.
All funds raised go directly to support the Torrance Public Library.
