HUMC Casserole Mission

Home chefs create the tested casserole recipe in home and deliver to HUMC (1912 Old Court Rd., Towson, MD) before the first Wednesday of the following month.

HUMC Volunteers deliver the prepared, frozen casseroles to various missions throughout the Baltimore area including:

Who? Types of Volunteer Needed:

Home Chef - Prepare casseroles at home and deliver to HUMC at 1912 Old Court Road by the first Wednesday of the following month.

“Celebrity” Chef - are you a local restaurant owner, trained chef or a celebrity chef in the making? We are looking for spotlight chefs to submit tested, beginner to intermediate casserole recipes. The recipes will be distributed to our Home Chef's, included in a final cookbook and provide exposure to you, your business, restaurant or celebrity chef path.

Sponsors - not a chef but want to help? Help secure local or national sponsors for the monthly ingredients or donate ingredients. If you are a local business interested in sponsoring our mission, your business will be featured in our cookbook and throughout our various social media feeds, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.

Ministry Evangelist - don't have the time but have a fat Rolodex (these days that would be “followers”) Refer your friends and colleagues to the mission.

Public Relations: help spread the word about our mission and feature our celebrity chefs. Radio, TV, social media not your forte? How many Facebook friends do you have? If only 1 person contributes or shares, you have helped evangelize our mission. Share our announcements and solicit volunteers for our monthly casserole creation session or donations of ingredients.
