Cherishing the memories of our loved ones is a beautiful way to keep them close, even when they are no longer with us. As we pass down stories, photographs, and cherished keepsakes through generations, we create a timeless bond that connects us all. With that said, many in our community will recognize Mrs. Gladys McBryar Moore with her Adler Organ (pictured below at S.C. Moore Funeral Home in 1955). For many years, the organ brought comfort to countless grieving families until its ownership changed hands a bit along the years.

It wasn’t until after the 2011 tornado damage and eventual rebuilding of our facilities that the Adler Organ was gifted back to Larry Moore, Sr., who felt that it would be a perfectly memorable addition to the newly built funeral home; you can see the organ in our chapel today (pictured below). The spirit, legacy, and precious memories of Gladys live on and continue to inspire us to this day as we serve our community as she once did.
