Please sign up for one task for this swimming season. One family membership will only need to sign up once. You are responsible for the full week (Sunday to Saturday). The Sunday you choose will be the start of your week.

We have added a few spots for donations for certain supplies for the pool. This is not manditory but very appreciatied. Please note, this signup will not replace your Membership Volunteering spot.

If you are not able to sign up, please contact John Stembel for the payment option to opt out. The payout option is $50 per membership for the year. Payments for this are due by May 31st 2023.

Memorial Day Cookout

As a reminder, no glass is allowed at the pool. Please do not bring any glass dishes and label any dishes you would like returned.

Westhampton Swim Club Clean-Up

The cover is off the pool and the water is looking great!
We need your help getting the grounds ready for the pool to open.

We will have pool clean-up days:
Saturday, May 6 10:00am - 3:00pm
Sunday, May 7 1:00pm - 5:00pm

With many folks helping, we should be able to knock it all out together. Here is a short list of items to be done:

1. Clean and distribute pool furniture
2. Deep clean the bathrooms
3. Deep clean the pool building
4. Deep clean the refrigerator
5. Clean the parking lot grounds of debris and trash
6. Work on cleaning up the fallen trees at the far end of the field
7. Clean up the baby pool
8. Fix the fence at the far end of the pool

Early Bird Rates are due by April 1.

Family Membership - $450 (Early Bird by April 1 - $420)
Individual Membership (18 & older) - $210 (Early Bird by April 1 - $195)
Initiation Fee $100 (for Individual or Family who was not previously a WSC Member)
Dues may be divided into four equal payments

We need your help to keep the pool and pool area clean!
All families must either sign-up for two shifts (individuals one shift) to help keep bathrooms clean, trash picked up, the pool deck free of food, and the inside of the pool free from algae build up, or pay an additional $50.
This will be assessed at the end of the year. Shifts will be one week long.

Please join us Saturday, March 5th for a member meeting.

Help is needed on Sunday, November 21, at 2:00 pm to help put away furniture and other winter clean up. Many hands make light work - should only take 30 minutes or so if we have enough helpers.

Thanks for coming out to our first Karaoke night! A good time was had by all. We look forward to seeing you next year.

Chili Party - Friday, Oct. 22 at 6:00 pm

Please join us for Open Mic & Karoke Night at the pool on Thursday, September 30 at 7 pm. Bring your dinner and drinks and show off your talent. It's sure to be a fun night!

Please join us at the pool to celebrate Independence Day on Sunday, July 4 at 1:00 p.m. The club will provide burgers, hot dogs, and soft drinks. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. We are requesting a $2 donation per person to help offset the cost of food.

Please note that fireworks are not permitted at the pool. As a reminder, please don't bring any glass dishes, containers, or bottles and label any containers that you want returned. You might also want to bring a chair.

We have passed our inspection and the pool is now open! If you were a member last year your key still works. If you are a new member or need a key, please contact Alex Fernandez or John Stembel.

We are not requiring any special Covid mitigation measures this year. Use your best judgement and do what you are comfortable doing.

Please keep in mind the following:
1. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. No one under the age of 18 is allowed at the pool without a responsible adult present.
2. DO NOT SWIM ALONE.
3. ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS. If you are spotted with glass at the pool on the first offense, you will be warned and asked to remove the glass. On the second offense, you will be fined $100. If you bring glass to the pool and it is broken, you will be responsible for paying the water bill to refill the pool (approx. $500).
4. NO SMOKING.
5. NO WATER BALLOONS.
6. DO NOT RUN ON THE POOL DECK.
7. STAY OFF THE DEEP END ROPE.
8. PLEASE DO NOT PUT TRASH IN A CAN WITHOUT A LINER.
9. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF. Remove all personal items, rinse food debris under tables, place trash in a lined trash can. Do not leave Soiled diapers in any pool trash receptacle. After depositing a soiled diaper in a lined trash can, tie the bag and place it in the large green DeKalb County trash can in front of the building. Check restrooms after children for cleanliness.
10. PERSONAL-SIZED FLOATS ONLY. Please take home all of your belongings when you leave.

SWIM TEAM. The Swim Team practices at the pool on Monday-Thursday from 5:30-7:30 pm until the end of June. Please check the calendar for the swim practice and meet schedule.

PARTIES. Members may have parties at the pool provided they pay the guest fee ($3) for each guest. If you plan on having a party at the pool, please email [email protected] to reserve the pavilion. Parties are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Please note that the pool will remain open to other Westhampton members during your party. Parties are posted on the club's calendar.

VOLUNTEERS WELCOME. Westhampton Swim Club does not have any paid employees. If you can help in any way from skimming the pool, to cleaning bathrooms, to taking out the trash, please do it! And Thank you for your help and support.
