Welp, finally broke down and went over to the dark side. Meet Scarlett my new Specialized Epic 8 Expert. Now that we are done with volleyball I am planning to do a lot more riding this year. Shooting for 6-8 races and needed a cross country race bike. I’ll still keep my Ripmo for the gnarly stuff but this one should get a lot of miles. Thanks Copper Spokes for hooking me up!!!’

I grew up in a small town in eastern Iowa where I learned the values of family first, loyalty, hard work and knowing & caring for your neighbor. Once I graduated from high school, I set out to see the world and joined the Air Force. My military service taught me patience, managing hectic timelines, being proactive and taking care of people. I was lucky enough to get an assignment to Tucson in 2012 and instantly fell in love with the city, the weather, and all the opportunities for biking and other outdoor sports.
After retiring in 2018, I came to a crossroads…do I stay in IT management where I have excelled for 21 years, or do I try something new, something I have a passion for. After a whole lot of soul searching I made my decision and became a real estate agent. I looked for a first class company that had the same values as I did and would allow me to be myself, I found that with Long Realty.
