As residential move-ins begin on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, we ask that all move-in requirements are completed prior to your arrival. Students may view their clearance status on the homepage of the housing portal.

Cougars, are you ready? Fall 2024 move-ins are right around the corner! The Office of Residence Life is gearing up to ensure you have a smooth move in process.

On Wednesday, August 28, 2024, Freshman Hall, Cougar Hall, and Bartlett Hall will be moving in. On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Upperclassman Hall, Rogers Hall, and Sozio Hall will be moving in. be sure to schedule your move-in appointment on the housing portal!

We ask that all residential students continue checking their email for any important updates that may be given. we cannot wait to have everyone back on campus in the coming weeks!

Here’s a recap of Spring Fest, hosted on April 21, 2024! Residents had a great time decorating tote bags, making bracelets, painting canvases, and so much more! Thank you to everyone who came out! 🌴

Join us tonight from 9 pm- 12 am in Keanu’s Kitchen for Midnight Breakfast! Enjoy breakfast-styled food while taking a break from any final exams. Be sure to come dressed in your PJs! 🍽️

Move-outs have officially begun as of today, May 3, 2024! All residential students should have already scheduled their move-out appointment with their respective RA. The residence halls will close May 9, 2024, at 6 PM.

As Sexual Assault Awareness Month, April, is ending, let's look back at our hosted events to raise awareness. From April 1, 2024, through April 5, 2024, the Office of Residence Life hosted Week of Action to raise awareness towards sexual assault and domestic violence! Although the month ends, we encourage you to continue showing support, being an advocate, and raising awareness!

Spring Fest is only a few days away! Join us this coming Sunday, April 21st, for a fun-filled day of activities! Canvas painting, water bottle and tote bag decorating, bracelet making, volleyball, ring toss, and so much more! We hope to see you there!

As a reminder, the 2024-2025 Housing Application is live! The deadline to participate in room selection is today, April 5, 2024. Be sure to submit your application and pay the $125 non-refundable application fee. Room selection will be available once you apply!

This week the Office of Residence Life & KUPD will be hosting Campus Safety Meetings. Prior to joining your respective hall’s forum, be sure to think of any questions, suggestions, or concerns you would like to see addressed. Questions, suggestions, or concerns can range anywhere from campus police response, lighting on campus, parking, policies and procedures, and much more!

Last week The Office of Residence Life came together to celebrate Resident Assistant (RA) Appreciation Day! We recognized our February RA of the month, handed out RA superlatives, and honored academic excellence with MACUHO Academic Excellence Awards for RAs maintaining a 3.7 cumulative GPA or higher. A big thank you to all our RAs for their unwavering dedication and hard work!
