On July 26, 2024, troopers from the Frederick Barrack took part in the "Badges for Baseball" event at McCurdy Field in Frederick County, Maryland. Hosted by the Boys & Girls Club of Frederick County, this gathering featured local first responders, elected officials, and community members coming together for a day of fun and camaraderie.

Today, on April 18, 2024, several members of the Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack were recognized for their exemplary performance by the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce, ranging from Officer of the Year (S/TPR Carter), Leadership Award (SGT Cain) and Distinguished Service Award (TFC Rickard, TFC Berger, TFC Blumenauer and S/TPR Carter). Congratulations to all the award winners.

On 4/8/2024 at 6:30pm, TFC Devin and Cpl. Conklin responded to The Mount Pleasant Ruritan Club to meet with the Frederick County 4-H Club. Troopers presented Safety Tips for Social Media and Smart Phone Usage to the members of the club. Thank you for the invitation to your facility.

The Maryland State police Frederick Barrack is asking the public for help in identifying a gentleman in the photos below as a person of interest. The incident happened on 9/8/23 at the C&O Canal on Point off Rocks Road, regarding a theft from a vehicle.

On 10/26/2022 at approximately 1630 hours, a theft of a catalytic converter occurred at the Appalachian Trailhead Parking located at 11174 Baltimore National Pike. The victim’s vehicle was a black Toyota Highlander with Maryland tags. There were possibly two suspects. The victim’s dash camera caught a partial of one suspect, possibly the lookout. The suspect was wearing dark gray windbreaker style jacket or long sleeve shirt. If you saw anything suspicious or these suspects during this time please contact the Frederick Barrack and request to speak with TFC Carter, reference 22-MSP-041723.
