A great weekend in Tallahassee for the Garnet & Gold tournament! These ladies fought hard and went 6-1 on the weekend outlasting 21 other teams to win the ship! 🔷🥎🔶

A 4-1 overall record and a runner-up finish this past weekend in Newberry for the PGF Gatorball Tournament!

However, the bigger story of the weekend started out as a scary one. We had an injury to one of our players in our first bracket game and she had to be taken to the hospital mid game. The demeanor of the girls changed and the concern everyone had for their fallen teammate was evident. After being released with a bit of good news, she demanded to return to the park and support her teammates. Crutches and all, she did just that.

That kind of toughness, commitment and camaraderie isn’t taught, it’s either in you or it isn’t. It’s about putting the team first instead of yourself. It’s a mentality of putting the groups overall success over your own selfish wants or needs. It’s about being able to go to war with people you love, doing your part, and supporting each other through the good and bad. We are lucky to have a group of young ladies that exemplify all of these things. We are also lucky to have a group of coaches and parents that would stand up for, as well as go to bat for each and every one of our players. We love this team, we love our coaches, we love our parents, and most importantly we LOVE this game.

Please keep #20 Elle Burns in your prayer for a painless and speedy recovery. We hope to have her back on the field in no time!

These ladies played up in 16u this weekend and while it wasn’t the outcome we wanted, they competed, held their own and grew as a team! Next stop is Newberry for PGF in a couple of weeks! 🔶🔷

A great way to start the spring 2024 season with a championship win in the Georgia PGF Kickoff in Atlanta! Also, a big congrats to Kassidy Edwards and Kay Kay Nails for their first official OTF homers of the season! 🔷🥎🔶
