To round out their incredible weekend’s, we had 2 Raptors go home with Perfect Game MVP awards! Collin Stephens (11U) and Dane Brown (14U) each were the #1 overall batting performers and won the MVP award for the PG Sunshine State Championship!
These boys made their mark this weekend in the Perfect Game Sunshine State Championship in St. Augustine and Jacksonville. 18 teams, only 10 boys, and they showed up ready to play some ball this weekend. On Saturday they went 1-0-1 and seeded #6 overall. They had to face the #3 seed to start the day on Sunday and it just happened to be the team that beat them pretty badly 2 weeks ago. They played some beautiful baseball and jumped on it fast the first inning and never let off. They stayed ahead the whole game winning 9-5 to send them to the semi-finals. The next game was close the whole time and ended up being tied up in the 6th to send it to PG’s tiebreaker and these boys weren’t going out of it. They scored 6 runs in the 7th inning and then held them off to win 12-8 to go to the championship! The championship game was against the team they tied on Saturday with. And even though all of the bats had been on fire all weekend, unfortunately their pitching was all tapped out. They fought with every ounce they had left in them, but couldn’t do anything about running out of pitching. Could not be any prouder of these boys and what this whole weekend meant for each one of them! Way to go, Raptors!!
It was as hot as the surface of the sun this weekend, but these boys showed up with a strong work ethic and focused mindset this weekend for the Perfect Game Sunshine State Championship (Open) in Jacksonville. After going 2-0 on Saturday and seeding #2 overall, they showed up Sunday and never backed down. They won the first game pretty big to send them to the semi-finals and they were behind the whole game. But they slowly chipped away and kept fighting. Scored a run every inning and kept fighting and came from behind to walk it off to send them to the championship game! Things just didn’t go their way in the championship game this time, but these boys worked their butts off this weekend and fought hard until the last play! Going home with a 4-1 record for the weekend and every single kid placing in the top performers for batting is most definitely a win all the way around!! Way to go, 11U Raptors!!
Bomb squad in the 11U semi-finals in Jax today! Way to let it fly, Weston & Collin! ⚾️⚾️
Perfect Game 14U World Series Warmup AAA Champions! These boys had a hard uphill battle today after going 0-1-1 in pool play and ended up seeding #8 out of 10. They had to face #9 this morning and won it 5-0. They then had to face the #1 seed and sent them home by winning it 5-1. There was no slowing down their roll at that point and they won the semi-final game 11-2 to send them to the championship where they won 10-2! Every single boy showed up today ready to put yesterday behind them and it showed big time! Proud of each of these boys!

Our 11U team played in the USSSA Rex & Brody tournament this weekend and went 2-0 in pool play seeding #2 overall out of 15 teams. They kept the momentum going on Sunday and battled 2 more games to get to the championship. They ended up losing 4-2 in the championship game to a good team that was fun to play against. The boys played lights out defense all weekend with incredible pitching overall, they just could not get their bats going enough and stay hot. Overall it was a great weekend and they are ready to work even more for the next one!
Our 14U team played in the USSSA Rex & Brody Tournament this past weekend going 2-0 in pool play and seeding them at #3 out of 15 teams. They lost in elimination play 2-1 in a great defensive game. Overall a great weekend for these boys and they are already gearing up for the next one.
We want to recognize something big that happened this weekend. In the top performers for the tournament, 6 of our players this weekend were in the top 8. And the other 3 boys were pretty high ranked in there as well. Each of these boys have individually had incredible weekends before, but every single one of them lit it up this weekend and it was so much fun to watch!! So we wanted to share some stats from this weekend for this team:
*team batting average was .458 (with 5 of them batting over .500)
*runs scored was 61
*number of times we walked was 34
*number of times we struck out was 5. That’s it.
*number of hits we had was 49
RESILIENCE is the best word I can come up with for what these 9 boys did this weekend! They went to Atlanta this weekend for the Perfect Game AAA South Atlanta Showdown (11U) and went 1-1 in pool play on Saturday seeding #6 going into Sunday. There were some not-so-pretty moments on Saturday, but boy did they regroup overnight and show out on Sunday!! They went into elimination play this morning and won 15-2 sending home the #3 seed. Then they had to face the team they lost to the day before and they beat them in a close game 8-6 to send them to the championship where they won it all!! These boys are battered and bruised and extra dirty from fighting hard this weekend. But they came in with a chip on their shoulder and showed out today and came home as CHAMPIONS! MVP for the tournament was Josh Garcia!
The 11U Raptors went to Dublin for the Perfect Game AAA South Georgia State Championship and went 1-1 in pool play on Saturday. Their loss was their first game and it was 9-8. The next game, they won 13-9 against the team that ended up winning the whole thing. This morning in their elimination game, the game was tied 3-3 and went to extra innings where we ended up losing. Overall, it was a good weekend and the boys have a chip on their shoulder and are ready to gear up for next time! BUT we want to highlight our pitcher Jax Bryant who was incredible on the mound this weekend!! He ended up being the #1 overall pitcher for the entire weekend and deserved it! We are so proud of him! Also, Josh Garcia coming in #6 overall for pitching as well!
Weston Flail with his 1st homerun!!
USSSA North Florida’s Best of the Best AAA Runner-ups! These boys battled hard and faced really good competition this weekend. Saturday pool play, the lost 4-5 and tied 5-5. It put them at the #4 seed for today. They won the first game 5-3 to move on to the semi-finals, where they put out the #1 seed by winning 12-0! They couldn’t pull it out in the championship game though and are coming home runner-ups! BIG weekend for these boys overall as they keep grinding and learning!
BOMB SQUAD!!! 3 homeruns on the day (so far) from these boys!! Won this morning to send them to the semi-finals where they then put out the #1 seed 12-0! Championship game is next! Congrats to Blaine, Harrison (his 1st!!) and Josh!
Our 11u Raptors went down to Lake City and finished out the weekend going 5-0 and coming home champions of the USSSA St. Patrick’s Bash! These boys had to battle from behind quite a few times, but once they found their groove, there was no turning back! Their bats were on FIRE and every single boy contributed in big ways all weekend! Next up, Jacksonville!
McKey Tillman started this weekend’s tournament off with a bomb to left field! 💣⚾️ Way to crush it, Mack!
So proud of our Kyler Davis and all he is doing at Valdosta High School Baseball! Keep working hard! 🖤

Representing the Raptor Nation with Team Georgia!
The Raptors 11u team went to Lake City this weekend for the USSSA North Florida Fall Kickoff, and played some not-so-great baseball on Saturday going 0-2 and being the bottom seed going into Sunday. But they showed up today ready to fight to the finish! Only 9 kids all weekend and they fought and grinded all the way through! They showed up this morning and won 4-1 to send them to the semi-final game against the #1 seed that they lost to yesterday. They played some more beautiful baseball and beat them 8-5 to go to the championship game, and they blew it open bringing home the championship WIN 11-3!!! These boys really showed up today and played so hard and supported each other and competed like we all know they can! And it took every ounce of every one of them to make this happen!! SO proud of your 11u CHAMPS!!!
Really cool moment for a few of the 13U Raptors today. Almost everyone is up here for the All-State Majors games and while a few of the boys had a big game break gap, they were asked if they wanted to play in a game against a team from Belgium. 🇧🇪 They were all 16/17 year olds and the team they were scheduled to play did not show up and they are just wanting to face competition in the US! They had so much fun getting to play against them and we are so thankful some of them had this opportunity! Something they definitely won’t forget!

Our Raptors Black 10U had 3 boys that went to Perfect Game’s All-State Majors tournament this weekend in East Cobb and all 3 made it thru to the championship game! They were randomly assigned teams for the weekend and battled it out for 2 days. Out of 11 teams, Collin & McKey were on the green team and Pierce was on the gold team. They all 3 played some incredible baseball this weekend including 3 games that went to extra innings today to be able to continue advancing. Green & Gold were the last 2 teams standing and all 3 boys pitched and had clutch plays against each other in the championship game. Green came out on top by a final score of 11-10 to win it. But each on these boys made us so proud this weekend. They fought hard, learned and had very clutch moments all weekend long!
We are so proud of the Raptors Black 10U’s Beau Brock for earning an invite and playing this weekend in the Perfect Game AA/AAA All State Games at East Cobb! He ended up playing 5 great games of baseball this weekend with his team and they battled into the semi-final game but came up a little short. We are so proud of the work he puts in and can’t wait to keep watching him grow! 💚🖤
Don’t miss out!! 💪🏼
