Meet The Vikes is still scheduled to take place tomorrow at 4:30PM at Martin Stadium! All Little Vikes Campers are still invited to attend and perform! Campers planning to attend and perform should wear their camp shirt and meet us at the band end zone at 4:15. Parents please pick your camper up immediately following their performance at the band end zone. Thank you and we look forward to seeing our campers again tomorrow!

We had a blast the past two days at Little Vikes Cheer Camp! Thank you to all the campers that attended this year!

We had a great first day of Little Vikes Cheer Camp yesterday and are super excited for another fun filled day today!

Little Vikes Cheer Camp set to begin!! Go Vikings!!

We are so excited about cheer camp starting tomorrow! Campers please remember water bottles with your child’s name on it and please wear tennis shoes! Check in starts at 8:30 in cafeteria lobby and camp starts at 9 am. Pick up between 11:45-noon! We can’t wait to see all our little campers!

📣 Forgot to register? We can still take campers up to the morning of (register with link provided… we can’t guarantee a shirt for late registration. )

Reminder to all campers: Please bring a refillable water bottle with campers first and last name both days. Mid morning snack is provided both days.

Check in starts at 8:30 am in the cafeteria lobby! We can’t wait to see you all Monday!!

Our Varsity Football Cheer Team attended NCA camp this week at Epworth By the Sea in St. Simmons! We had an excellent week of bonding, learning new skills, and perfecting techniques!

We received multiple honors/awards at camp including:
2 spirit sticks
NFHS Squad Credentialing
Stunt SAFE Award
1st Place Game Day Chant
1st Place Band Chant
2nd Place Game Day Cheer
Blue Superior Ribbons
Most Spirited/Sportsmanship Award voted on by other squads

We had multiple students nominated for the prestigious All American Award and Rhianna Sindt was recognized as an All American Cheerleader. Rhianna was awarded a Pin It forward Pin by NCA Staff to demonstrate her good sportsmanship at camp. Today she was able to give a pin it forward pin to another cheerleader at camp and Julia Broome, Nari Williams, and Layne Barringer received pins from other cheerleaders at camp. Rhianna received the leadership award out of all campers and received a special invitation to tryout to join NCA staff next summer!

Congratulations to this amazing team on all their camp and sportsmanship accolades! We are so proud of you!! 📣

Our Varsity Cheerleading Squads got to be apart of the JC Penny Dream Prom Giveaway on Good Morning America! 📣

Due to school being closed today, we will not have the 9th grade cheerleading meeting for cheerleaders and parents today. We will host it Wednesday April 17th at 4:30 in Room A123.

Congrats to everyone that made cheerleading for the upcoming year! Sideline cheerleaders need to check their email for information from their coach that was sent prior to spring break!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!

Due to the threat of bad weather this afternoon, all after school activities have been cancelled including JV Cheer Tryouts. JV tryouts will now take place Thursday 3/28 immediately following school and 9th grade tryouts will take place around 4:30 pm!

It’s Tryout Week for our Sideline Squads!

Schedule for the week:
Monday 3:30 PM Varsity Football
Tuesday 3:30 PM Varsity Basketball
Wednesday 3:30 PM JV
Thursday 4:00 PM 9th Grade

Don’t forget everyone must wear a solid white top and black shorts for tryouts. No jewelry allowed and hair must be pulled back (with or without white blow).

We had an amazing time celebrating all of our amazing LHS Cheerleaders at our annual banquet tonight. We’d like to thank all our senior cheerleaders for their hard work over the last four years and wish you the best in your future endeavors! Congratulations everyone!

Don’t forget our Cheerleading Banquet to honor all our LHS Cheerleaders for the 2023-2024 School year is tomorrow night at 5:30 in the LHS Cafeteria. Senior Cheerleaders and parents: Don’t forget you are able to bring a trifold board to spotlight yourself/your senior (if you wish to do so…not required). We can’t wait to celebrate all our cheerleaders!
