Suzanne Leslie Connelly (July 8, 1966 - June 22, 2024)
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Suzanne Leslie Connelly, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and entrepreneur, who left an indelible mark on the lives of those around her.
Born on July 8, 1966, in Vallejo, California, Suzanne was the loving daughter of Margaret and Patrick Houston. She spent her entire life in Vallejo, graduating from Hogan High School and building a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication.
Suzanne's life was tragically cut short when she suffered a blood clot that moved to her heart, resulting in severe anoxic brain damage. Despite her passing, her legacy lives on through her three children, Justin, Zachary, and Kenidi; her devoted husband, Jon; her sister Shari Houston and her mother, Maggie Houston Wright.
As co-owner of Customized Services, Suzanne was a driving force behind the company's success. Her dedication to excellence earned her the admiration of customers who affectionately referred to her as "The Absolute Best."
When not running the family business, Suzanne cherished her time with loved ones. She looked forward to annual vacations to Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Disneyland and the Fourth of July fireworks displays. Her involvement in the Soroptimist Club and volunteer work at St. Basil's Catholic School and St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School showcased her compassionate spirit and commitment to giving back to the community.
The Services to honor and remember Suzanneβs life will take place on July 9th 2024, at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church in Vallejo California. The rosary will commence at 12pm with the funeral mass to follow at 1pm. Refreshments will follow the funeral mass in the St. Basils School Gym.
Suzanne is survived by:
Husband: Jon Connelly
Children: Justin Connelly (Alexandra), Zachary Connelly (Susi), and Kenidi Connelly
Mother: Margaret Houston Wright
Sister: Shari Houston and nephew Brance
Though Suzanne's life was unexpectedly cut short, her
memory will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her. Her unwavering dedication to family, friends, and community will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Suzanne. Your love and legacy will be deeply missed β€οΈ
