The Ribbons of Life (“ROL”) Breast Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity committed to providing education, advocacy, and social and emotional support.
Last weekend we focused on Cleansing the Mind and Body with guest speaker, Dr. Tristin Wesenberg and shared our support for one another. Thank you to all who joined.

On Monday, June 24, EPIC Wealth Partners held a Golf Tournament Fundraiser at the Tierra Rejada Golf Club in Moorpark on behalf of Ribbons of Life. We were so honored and thrilled to take part.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for a lovely day of golf! And special thank you to the EPIC Wealth Partners team for putting on this wonderful event!
On June 8th we celebrated the significant men in our lives by sharing the impacts and meaningful lessons learned from our husbands partners, fathers, sons, brothers, and mentors. 💙
We also announced the 2024 Ribbons of Life Educational Scholarship recipients and are so excited to see where this new educational journey takes them.
BreastFest is held on the second Saturday of the month from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at Black Bear Diner at 2401 Harbor Blvd. in Ventura.

May 2024 BreastFest - Celebrating the Special Women in Our Lives

Last Thursday, we had a blast at Create4Life making handmade greeting cards. Jo Ann Kirkby led the group and shared a fun technique using Sharpie markers💟.

A big warm thank you to Coach Robin Hester of Ventura College Women's Basketball team the Pirates. He and his team held a fundraiser on behalf Ribbons of Life, calling it the Ribbons of Life Breast Cancer Game. And what a game it was. The VC women’s basketball team played against Cuesta and won 54 to 44!🏀

Thank you to our guest speaker, Melissa Duker, Sr. Sales Director with Mary Kay Cosmetics. She shared skincare tips and demonstrated makeup looks that everyone can do.

We are happy to share some good news! The Lymphedema Treatment Act has been signed into law and is currently in effect as of January 1, 2024.
This new Act allows the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to cover lymphedema sleeves, day and night garments, and accessories for patients who have been diagnosed with lymphedema and have a prescription for compression supplies.
