People often ask me if there is any way to save on interest. One option is to set up a bi-weekly mortgage payment through your servicer.
This means that you make half a month’s payment every two weeks instead of the more traditional method of making 12 months payment in a year.

In some cases, this is the easiest way. The best way to save on interest is to make extra principal installments each month in addition to the monthly payment.
