Breaking News: The Chicagoland Open Tournament previously scheduled for Sunday, 23 June, has been rescheduled to Sunday, 29 Sept.!

For those who are interested in the open tournament this weekend, here is the registration info. This tournament offers a great opportunity to develop competition skills as well as meet and be inspired by other martial artists.

Last weekend at the Eagle Academiy Karate Spectacular stage show, our own Mr. Logan was once again honored for receipt of his cho dan (first-degree black belt) in Tang Soo Do, while Ms. Gorlinski received her e dan (second-degree black belt) in Hapkido. Go Villa Park! "1, 2, 3, Tang Soo! 3, 2, 1, Hap Ki!"

An extraordinary event occurred this week. Our very own Mr. Jeff Logan was promoted to first-degree black belt (cho dan)! And, of course, he started to learn the first sword form immediately upon receiving his belt! Congratulations, Mr. Logan! We're all so proud of your accomplishment, dedication, and unwavering spirit Tang Soo!

Villa Park Tang Soo Do made an impressive showing at the Region 5 Extravaganza in Holly, Michigan last weekend! We all had a blast, and everyone came home with medals!

Last Friday night, on 6 October 2023, our very own Mr. Jeff Logan tested for his black belt in Holly, Michigan. Go, Mr. Logan! You rock!
