Last week, VB officers, Cadets, and volunteers participated in Project Lifesaver search specialist training at the Law Enforcement Training Center. All 11 participants passed the course and are available to search for your loved ones!

If you have extra coins laying around the house, please take them to Beach Municipal and help raise money for Virginia Beach Project Lifesaver.

Come on out to the Battle of the Badges going on now until 1pm at Kellam High School. Watch first responders battle it out on the court, play games, and check out our displays!

VBPL at the Autism back to school safety day. Thanks to the Autism Society Tidewater Virginia for organizing the event.

VBPL is at Chesapeake city park with the Alzheimer's Association for the walk to end Alzheimer's Disease.

We'd like to thank Nicole Miller and the Tidewater Autism Society for their work in the Autism community and recognition of our hometown heros MPO JC Karangelen and DC Shannon Wicthendahl today at the 5k. These officers have worked with TAS to improve relationships between VBPD and our Autism community.

Plan Bee Academy needs your help. They are a private day school supporting children with autism and is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) #47-2486135. They are accepting donations of items (gift baskets, gift cards, single items, services, etc.) for the silent auction being held on October 22, 2022, as well as cash donations in the form of a check (credit card users can donate by calling the school directly at 757-375-1560).

If you would like more information on the silent auction, would like to become a sponsor, or have items to be picked up, please let me know! Every little bit helps! In previous years your generosity helped to fund such things as a beautiful playground, a laundry room for students to learn life skills, and currently they are working to complete a covered patio!
