Maryland Chapter was asked to support a “Make a Wish” birthday request for Jabrill Carroll. Jabrill really likes motorcycles and is a terminally ill seven year old. We were so proud to support this request.

The Buffalo Soldiers of Maryland Foundation, Inc and Maryland Chapter, NABSTMC awarded Amirahimaan Kalonji, Benjamin Banneker Academic High school with its 2024 William C. Price Scholarship at the annual Felipe A. Fields Memorial Buffalo Thunder ride.

The Maryland NABSTMC Family started 2024 with our Polar Bear ride. Our Aberdeen, Northern VA and Central BS Family/friends all came out to ride and break bread together on a cold and rainy first day of January. Don’t get no better than this, 2024 is looking great already!

Even on Christmas Eve, it’s our privilege to serve those less fortunate in our community. Maryland NABSTMC conducts “Feed the Needy” at 4th Street Friendship Seven Day Adventist Church.

This past weekend Maryland, NABSTMC conducted Holiday activities. On Saturday, 16 December we supported First Baptist Church of Highland Park in the conduct of a toy drive. On Sunday, we supported 4th Street Frienship Seventh Day Adventist Church with its annual coat and winter clothing drive for the homeless in Washington, DC. Finally, the chapter presented 18, $500 gift cards to single parent households from our Buffalo Soldier Foundation of Maryland, Inc. The presentation followed a holiday blessing by Dr Henry Davis, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Highland Park.

2023 Meet/Greet

Today Maryland Chapter conducted a “mini” bike show for the children at Calvary Baptist Church Academy,
407 Marley Station Rd, Glen Burnie MD 21060. The kids loved seeing the bikes and the Soldiers took the opportunity to talk about rider safety to the future riders.

The family conducted our annual Charter Member Celebration, honoring Hugh Valentine, Donald Thigpen, Pastuer Tebo, Brian Bulow and James Valentine (d). Brenda Fields and the Aunties where present to make sure we behaved! LoL The event was a family reunion, with retired members, old friends and new acquaints celebrating the chapters 28 years! What a great way to start the 2023 riding season.

Buffalo Soldiers of Maryland conducted a Black History presentation at Cavalry Baptist Church Academy. The presentation was well received and appreciated by all. Big shout out to ( L to R) Simba, Signal, GA Boi, Paladin and Big Dee. Thanks to the Soldiers for making the presentation both informative and entertaining! BUFFALO!

So it was 50 degrees today, so we didn’t see any Polar Bears! LoL But we had a great ride, no better way to begin 2023 than riding with family!

Maryland Chapter Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club delivered Turkeys to The S.E. DC Veterans Home and to River Terrace Academy in Washington DC. We ride Motorcycles from East Coast to West Coast but Community Service! is what we do! RYS Soldiers!

Buffalo Soldiers of Maryland Foundation, Inc awarded $30,000 in scholarships yesterday during a ceremony at Old Glory Harley-Davidson. The ceremony included scholarships named in honor of the Maryland Chapter’s five charter members ( Brian Bulow, Donald Thigpen). The Foundation awarded 16 first time scholars and 6 returning scholars. Old Glory HD presented the Foundation with a donation to Mason Monroe and Jeff Freeland, Foundation board members.
