Cardio exercises help improve your endurance on the ice. Try running, cycling, or swimming to get your heart rate up and increase your stamina. Aim for at least 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise, three times a week. Interval training, alternating between high and low intensity, can also be highly effective.
