Holding stylists back to appease a hierarchy only makes you a SH@TTY BOSS!
Can we refrain from holding hairstylists back simply because they haven't served their time or paid their dues?
If they're making their clients happy, maintaining solid retention, booked out for days, and eager to grow, why hinder them?
Just because they haven't hit certain benchmarks influenced mainly by retail companies?

Diverse work environments, work-life balance, and endless learning opportunities - that's what our open-door policy offers to hairstylists. Explore, prevent burnout, and become a truly knowledgeable stylist. 🚪
Thoughts????
To my fellow stylists, you're not a bargain bin!!!!
You're a skilled professional who deserves to be paid for your work.
Don't discount your services just to attract clients.
Let your work speak for itself. Your clients will appreciate the value of your services and they'll be happy to pay for it.
I know it can be tempting to discount your services, especially when you're just starting out. But in the long run, it's not worth it. You'll devalue your work and you'll attract the wrong clients.

Some of the barbering work out there is blowing my mind! How about you???
Remember, starting small isn't a setback; it's a powerful setup for greatness. In your salon business, those calculated risks, no matter how seemingly tiny, are the seeds of your future success. Embrace them, nurture them, and watch them grow into something awesome
What does this quote mean to you?
My signature style is always changing, but right now I'm super into silly T-shirts, wild glasses, and distressed or graffiti-inspired clothing pieces. When it comes to hair styling, I'm really into geometric, creative shapes with some contrasting softness. Whats yours?

Slow season???Here are some quick tips to help with the slow season without resorting to discounts.
Don't let a less busy holiday season discourage you.
The challenges our industry faces are temporary, and your skills as a hairstylist are timeless.
Avoid turning your hairdressing reels into glorified commercials.
Create authentic and engaging content that showcases your skills, inspires your audience, and builds trust, not just promotes products.
Unless, of course, you have entered into a paid partnership with the company and are being compensated for your endorsement, or if you are selling the product through your own online store.
With the holiday craze in full swing, it's more important than ever to keep the salon experience running smoothly for everyone. Here are a few tips for all clients to help keep things stress-free:
• Book your appointment in advance. This will help your stylist plan their day and ensure that they have enough time to give you the best possible service.
• Be on time for your appointment. If you are running late, call the salon as soon as possible to let them know.
• Come to your appointment with pictures of hairstyles you like. This will help your stylist understand your vision and create a style that you love.
• Be respectful of your stylist's time and space. Don't talk on your phone or bring in outside food or drinks.
• Be honest about your hair history. This will help your stylist avoid any surprises and give you the best possible results.
Hairstylists, please share this post as a good reminder to your clients!
We understand that not every stylist is a perfect match, but please refrain from bashing your previous stylist.
While it's important to find a stylist who you feel comfortable with, it's also important to be respectful of others in the industry. Bashing your previous stylist only creates a negative atmosphere. Instead, focus on the positive aspects of your new stylist and what they can do for you.
Let's ditch the competition mindset and embrace collaboration. When we support each other's businesses, we create a thriving ecosystem where everyone benefits.
In a world where competition is often fierce, it's easy to see other businesses as rivals. But what if we approached our business relationships with a spirit of collaboration and abundance? When we're confident in referring out potential clients to other businesses, we're not just building community, we're also cultivating an ecosystem of abundance that benefits everyone involved. By supporting each other's success, we create a rising tide that lifts all boats
