Great job today Warsaw Rotary Club members Ben, David, Seth & Troy serving lunch today at Fellowship Missions. Seth made a great Chili & served food. Troy help roast garbanzo beans & served food. Ben & David prepared salads & cleaned up. Seth may need to enter a Chili cooking competition. Great example of the Rotary motto: service above self. I think Ben had double duty & delivered mobile meals also. Thanks Kayla & Jimbo for helping us.

Another great fundraiser event by Warsaw Rotary Club current & former members for our local The Salvation Army Warsaw Indiana. Our club raised over $60,000. L to R Alan Alderfer co-chair Salvation Army day, Bill Smith club president, Sina Olafsson Locke & Kenneth C Locke Envoys from our local Salvation Army. Our club has a long standing tradition of raising funds & ringing the bell for our local co**se.

The Warsaw Rotary Club will observe it 96th Annual “Rotary Toy Day” on Thursday, December 7th at their meeting at Creighton Crazy Egg. The club first held the event at the Hays Hotel in December 1927 to collect toys for families in need helped by The Salvation Army. The club now supports the Angel Tree program of The Salvation Army with this collection. Toys may also be dropped off at Walmart Supercenter, 2501 Walton Blvd in Warsaw or Alderfer Bergen & Company, 122 W Market Street, Warsaw. For more information go to www.sawarsaw.org.

We had a great lunch meeting last Thursday. It had been far too long since we had heard from our friend Rich Haddad from K21 Health Foundation! Our community is so lucky to have Rich and his team. They have granted out over $60 million since 1999!
