My novel, The Beast of Winter Haven was published about six weeks ago. At the time, I was in trial, and I haven’t had much time to work on marketing it.

The novel is about a werewolf, and a trial wherein the defense attorney must prove the werewolf’s existence to save an innocent client. Several people have commented favorably the story. It’s available on Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble if you’re interested in reading it. If you do decide to read the novel, I would appreciate your feedback back.

The Conviction of the Honduran President in U.S. Court 04/29/2024

Presidents, more than anyone else in the world, are used to giving orders. As we can see from former President Donald Trump who is currently experiencing his trial in a state courthouse in Manhattan, presidents are less used to being subject to the authority of courts. So is former President of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernandez, who was recently convicted of conspiracy to traffic narcotics and fi****ms in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and now faces forty years in prison.

Read here Dennis E. Boyle, Esquire's latest blog post in which he discusses Hernandez's conviction and narcotics trafficking in Latin America.

Real Estate Investment Trusts: Fraud in Real Estate Investing 10/16/2023

A Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) allows an investor to participate in real estate investment without actually purchasing property. By investing in a REIT, an investor can indirectly own real estate and benefit from the profits generated by it. There can be advantages to REITs, but they are often poor investments, and as with other forms of real estate investment, fraud exists.

Dennis E. Boyle, Esquire is a FINRA arbitrator and has been practicing securities law for more than twenty years. In this blog post, he discusses the pitfalls associated with investing in REITs.

Real Estate Investment Trusts: Fraud in Real Estate Investing Investing in real estate has a certain appeal to many people. The investment is, or at least appears to be, tangible—he investor can visit the shopping mall or condominium complex.

Defending Clients in Multi-Defendant Cases - Boyle & Jasari 04/20/2023
