gray for glioblastoma is committed to shedding light on the reality of Glioblastoma Multiforme, not to leave you feeling hopeless or worried about the statistics(they do NOT define you), but to promote the need for change, to work towards a cure and highlight the grave need for awareness and funding NOW. we celebrate the bravery and strength of patients who wake up every day, fighting against these numbers. in sharing these statistics, we aim to underscore the urgency of awareness and change. let these figures serve as a catalyst for empowerment, not discouragement. every dollar raised, every conversation sparked, every individual reached through awareness efforts contributes to a brighter future for GBM patients and their loved ones.

it’s cool to support brain cancer research™️ is an important phrase to all of us at gray for glioblastoma as well as our community. this phrase not only brings awareness to brain cancer and supports those impacted but it also highlights that brain cancer research due to the need for specialized expertise and resources, it can be a mentally and emotionally demanding field. the phrase emphasizes the need for appreciation and recognition of the efforts made by researchers, healthcare professionals, and caregivers who dedicate their time and energy to combatting brain cancer. improved research can lead to better treatment options, enhanced quality of life for patients, and ultimately, increased survival rates & a cure. the phrase encourages people to rally behind this cause and channel their support towards spreading awareness and raising funds. it is SO cool to support brain cancer research. 💖🧠

in may we launched our partnership with through their impact program to create a special GFG bracelet that gives back. we worked with for our July 19th event so they were kind enough to extend the bracelet link online for an extra 2 months!!! the link will be closing soon and every purchase of a gray for glio bracelet donates 30% back to us, so go grab your bracelet on our website before it’s too late! We chose to include amethyst crystals because it is believed by some to have a variety of healing properties including helping reduce stress, anxiety, and promoting a sense of inner peace. Amethyst crystals are also commonly used to help with grief and emotional healing. It is believed that the crystal's energy can help soothe and calm emotions, reducing feelings of sadness and grief.

It's important to note that while amethyst can be a helpful tool in managing emotions during times of grief, it's not a replacement for seeking professional support, counseling or medical advice

this wednesday is glioblastoma awareness day: help us raise awareness to EDUCATE- individuals can learn about glioblastoma, its impact on patients and their families, and the need for research and support. To SUPPORT patients and families- raising awareness can help create a supportive, positive and hopeful community for those affected by glioblastoma, making the isolated cancer a little more manageable. To FUND RESEARCH-  Generating awareness can contribute to increased funding for glioblastoma research. Funding is crucial for advancing scientific knowledge, developing new treatment approaches, and ultimately finding a cure. By increasing public awareness, more individuals and organizations may be motivated to contribute to research efforts through donations or advocacy. And, to ADVOCATE: raising awareness can lead to policy changes and increased advocacy for glioblastoma patients. Awareness campaigns can help shed light on the challenges faced by patients, such as access to quality healthcare, clinical trials, and supportive services. This can prompt policymakers and healthcare institutions to prioritize funding, support, and policy changes to improve care and outcomes for patients.

Hi all!!!! Gray for Glioblastoma has created a chat space for all affected by glioblastoma! We recognize how isolating and difficult a diagnosis and/or loss relating to GBM can feel. We felt there was no strong community of support and a lack of resources for understanding GBM. So, we have spent a year and a half trying to fix this by building a safe, positive and hopeful space full of support and love through social media. But, we wanted to create a more intimate space for deeper conversations that lead to friendships or relationships, more sustainable support , volunteer opportunities close by and an organized area for resources. join the first ever organized chat space for GBM through our website www.grayforglioblastoma.com

Geneva is an app that helps you stay connected to the people you love and help you make new friends through the homes (groups) you join. Our home is meant to be a safe place to join rooms to make GBM affected friends close by, expand GFG to your area or discuss GFG fundraising events opportunities, and lean on others that are experiencing similar experiences. We hope you can use this group to make connections, learn, share and recognize that you are NOT alone. Join the home now! www.grayforglioblastoma.com/geneva
