Please join us for our end-of-the-year village holiday party on Thursday, December 28th, from 6pm to 8pm! The party will be hosted at The Columbia Residents at 2435 L Street NW. This is a great send-off into the new year where everyone is surrounded by new and old friends! We hope to see everyone there!

Today and every day we honor those who served our country. Last month we were pleased to stand with George Arnstin as he was being honored for his service during World War II. Thank you to all our members who have served our country.

Last month we had the pleasure of celebrating George Arnstein’s 99th birthday! Attendees shared a cake and swapped stories to celebrate the special occasion. We have such a special community.

The GWU adult exercise program is still going on and has been a major success! Our members have loved the classes Angela has been offering. Make sure to stop by on Monday or Wednesday from 12:00-12:50 pm before they end on December 13th!

GWU’s older adult exercise program has started up again! Every Monday and Wednesday, join the instructor Angela Ingram from 12:00 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. for her class. Classes will be hosted in B112A (basement) at the Milken Institute School of Public Health (950 New Hampshire Avenue, N.W.). There will be no classes on November 20th and 22nd. We hope to see everyone there!

On September 30th from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Giant Pharmacy will provide vaccines for our vaccination clinic. The clinic will be held in the atrium of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (2430 K St NW). Appointments are required, so please sign up using the link in our bio. We hope to see everyone on the 30th as we all prepare to stay as healthy as possible this fall and winter!
