🍎📚 Teacher Appreciation Week!
Dear teachers!
Thank you so much for all your dedication, professionalism, and love for our students. Your diligence and hard work are invaluable. Chia thanks you for all the moments together and for your influence on the future generation! 🌟
In honor of Chinese Language Day (中文日), here is an fantastic example of how we apply the Chinese characters we have learned and encourage our students to spot and recognize them during read aloud.
Literacy (Rome) doesn’t build in one day! With consistency and persistence of 3 classes, we got to learn 大 小 上 下 and applied them in the The Very Hungry Caterpillar 🐛 😍
Feel free to try it out with your students or child at home!
Our middle school students did an amazing job applying their knowledge during an experimental trip to a restaurant yesterday led by Zou Laoshi 🍽️
They confidently ordered dishes in Chinese, including fried rice 🍛, dumplings🥟, and many others, and skillfully ate using stainless steel chopsticks🥢
We including the owner of the restaurant proudly watch our students independently applying their acquired knowledge!
Counting down the days for our upcoming Summer Taiwan Immersion trip scheduled from July 5th to July 19th, 2024!
We are taking 15 students and their families to immerse in a rich tapestry of culture, history and natural beauty!
We will partner with local summer camps with their students and foster meaningful friendships!
Truly can’t wait!!!
Dear Chia families!
We continue our series of tips for parents on teaching Chinese at home!
Our little linguists in grades 1-2 learned the Chinese Zodiac song (Chinese Zodiac song - 十二生肖歌) during our classes.
You can continue studying the zodiac signs at home, it's a wonderful way to learn and have fun at the same time!
We're happy to share video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ct7g4hRSssw), which will be a real help in reviewing the song we learned in our classes!
Thanks to this fun activity and regular practice, learning the language will be enjoyable and will help better absorb the material covered in class!
We continue to celebrate the successes of our students from winter season 🚀
From mastering pinyin to expressing themselves through character writing, they've shown incredible growth.
Our students took their skills to new heights with a custom "Guess in 10" game, complete with their own cards and food items! What's more, they crafted their own game boards, selected, designed, and printed by themselves.
Their creativity and teamwork were outstanding.
We're thrilled to unveil the stunning professional snapshots captured during our Sunday classes! 🌟 Thank you for being part of the magic! 💖
Thank you so much for our fantastic photographer to capture these beautiful learning moments-
