What a day! Explored the Trade Show floor and met with Native small business owners to talk about President Biden’s Investing in America agenda.

President Joe Biden's Investing in America agenda is driving a small business boom, and Black-owned small businesses are playing a critical role. Thanks to the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts for hosting today’s event with Congresswoman Katherine Clark, Senate President Karen E. Spilka, and Mayor Charlie Sisitsky.

The 2023 small business grant application is ongoing. Eligible applicants are being funded, send me a direct message if you wish to apply.

In coordination with FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency and local and state partners, SBA's Office of Disaster Recovery & Resilience is responding to several major disasters across the country. This includes recent tornadoes in Little Rock , where SBA has opened a Business Recovery Center.

Business Recovery Centers provide a wide range of specialized services to help business owners impacted by disasters including assessing working capital needs and evaluating recovery options for their specific situation.

Small business owners, nonprofits, homeowners, and renters in declared disaster areas can apply for SBA disaster loans to help pay for rebuilding and recovery costs online.

It is remarkable how are supporting and growing our economy, but must importantly is the addressing of the for our society.

Whether in rural towns, suburban markets, or city centers, so many small businesses have borne the pandemic’s most significant impacts, and the SBA team of professionals dedicated themselves to providing a lifeline to our nation’s small businesses.

SBA is here to assist the small business community every step of the way now and as they reopen and restart their journey back to economic recovery. I know SBA will continue to be their ally as they chart their course to achieving their entrepreneurial dreams.

What a great way to wrap up Women’s History Month!
