Our goal is to serve in three ways for all Metro DC AmeriCorps Alums. Connect to us for service, networking and advocacy opportunities throughout the year. We're going to work to better serve those who are new to the area in the coming months.

🆕 UPCOMING SOCIAL EVENT: ArtWalk Dupont, which occurs on the First Friday of every month, features the Dupont Circle arts community. Each month, art galleries, museums, embassies, and more open their doors from 6-8 PM for a night of special programming.
A cash bar will be available at the meetup location (Woman’s National Democratic Club, 1526 New Hampshire Avenue NW).

This past Saturday, AmeriCorps Alums DC partnered up with to deliver healthy, nutritionally-tailored meals to DC residents. A special thank you to everyone who came out and volunteered with us!

On April 13th, 8 AmeriCorps Alums DC volunteers partnered with for their Earth Month Clean-Up along Four Mile Run in Arlington.

Join AmeriCorps Alums DC as we deliver nutritious meals to DC residents battling serious illnesses.
We need three volunteers willing to use their personal vehicles to deliver meals based on a predetermined route and up to two additional volunteers per vehicle to ride-along and help navigate, dj, and present meals to community members at their homes.

AmeriCorps Alums DC had a great service event last Sunday at Mount Zion-FUBS Cemeteries in Georgetown. Volunteers helped with preservation and restoration, including building a staircase and pruning trees.

ReStores have few paid staff, so they rely on volunteers to sort, price, stage, and clean the donations of housewares, construction materials, and furniture items that the store receives.
