From billions (yes, billions) of dollars in wasted productivity, to increases in the price of consumer goods, the impact of this issue has significant ripple effects throughout the economy. Legislative Update: Highway Users Submit Comments to NHTSA Urging the Administration to Reconsider CAFE Proposal
Yesterday, the Highway Users submitted our comments to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on their proposed update to the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) Standards for Model Year 2027-2032. In the comments, we urge the Administration to reconsider its proposal and introduce a more achievable standard for CAFE.
