Yesterday our Interns Paola and Pedro from the Córdova & Fernós program had the opportunity to participate in the LULAC 2024 annual legislative conference where they had the opportunity to learn and gain more insight on some of the most pressing issues facing the Latino community in the United States.

📄| Last week, our PRFAA team in Florida teamed up with the office of Representative Susan Valdés to serve the Puerto Rican community in the state by providing access to vital documents.

Our mission is to ensure that every Puerto Rican has access to the resources they need to thrive.

This afternoon, Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Federal Affairs Administration, together with the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce and the Puerto Rico Builders Association met with Dr. Kimberly McClain, Secretary of Congressional Affairs and Intergovernmental Affairs for the US Department of Housing & Urban Development, where we were able to raise the need to adjust the income limits that would allow more Puerto Ricans to qualify for the different programs and benefits offered by HUD.

During this past weekend our PRFAA Florida team participated during the celebration of SanSe 2024 Orlando providing information about the different services that our regional office in Florida offers for the well-being of the entire Puerto Rican community.

Our PRFAA team in Florida participated in the ¡Vive tu vida! Get Up! Get Moving! Florida event alongside other community organizations and government agencies where PRFAA was able to inform families of the array of services we provide. We thank Hispanic Federation for hosting this event, as well as all the organizations that made it possible.
