The Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP)

On Thursday, ALLMEP organized a tour and discussion between peacebuilders, and senior German Parliamentarian Deborah Düring, the foreign policy spokesperson in Parliament for the Green Party, which also manages the Foreign Ministry. MdB Düring toured ALLMEP Member Wahat al-Salam - Neve Shalom, and met with multiple civil society leaders, Samah Salaime and Nir Sharon of Wahat Al-Salam/Neve Shalom, Tareq Abuhamed of The Arava Institute for Environmental Studies, Rula Daood of Standing Together, and Rabbi Dana Sharon of Rabbis for Human Rights, to learn about actions being taken now to improve the situation in the immediate term, and to create the local solutions and bottom-up pressure for negotiations down the line to be worthwhile.

ALLMEP member MEET - Middle East Entrepreneurs of Tomorrow Summer 2024 program is underway! Israeli and Palestinian high school students from Year One and Year Two are at the יאסא - IASA for four weeks, focusing on computer science and entrepreneurship. Year Three students are working on bi-national startup projects, all projects are aimed at fostering social change and peace.
