Ever wondered what the inside of the dam looks like?? 🤔
Join our Rivers Project engineers behind the scenes on a special engineering tour INSIDE the Melvin Price Locks and Dam! This never-before touring experience will be offered exclusively at the NGRM's 20th Anniversary celebration on November 4th, 2023.
Here's what to expect and how to register:
⚠️ Tours will be approximately 90 minutes in length; participants must remain with tour guide for the entire duration, no exceptions.
⚠️ Must be a U.S. citizen
⚠️ Groups will be taken up and down stairwells and into tight quarters; behind-the-scenes tours are not ADA accessible.
⚠️ Children must be able to walk on their own, including up and down stairs, as no carriers, strollers, or carrying of children will be permitted, and all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
⚠️ No bags or cameras allowed on the tour, and cell phones must remain in pockets.
⚠️ No photography under any circumstances.
⚠️ Long pants & closed-toe shoes required for safety!
⚠️ Free lockers are provided.
