She will hold one class on Nov. 17 for those who either don't know her "This or That" choreography or need a brush up and the second one (Dec. 8) is for those who wish to present it at the studio's Open Mic on Dec. 15. On Sunday, October 27th, KOW presents two Pop Up classes in honor of Halloween and Beetlejuice! One for the advanced beginner/slower intermediate student and the other for the faster intermediate/advanced tap dancer beginning at 4pm. If you want to really get into it, wear a costume to class and be ready to tap out to Halloween tunes and Beetlejuice’s favorite song, Day O! Register today to reserve your spot—it is two weeks from today! KOW Faculty and District Tap member Margaret Wohlford will lead the fun.

Tuesdays bring another new instructor to KOW, Madison Smither. Madison hails originally from Louisiana, and received a BA from UVA and is currently pursuing a graduate degree at Harvard while working and teaching here, in the DC area. KOW also welcomes Candace Turitto, a member of the board at Knock On Wood Tap Studio and faculty at the University of Maryland. A few years ago, Candace taught filled to the brim classes for KOW and she is back to delight and educate students, and we are thrilled to have her. You can also see her bio at the above link.

Tomorrow, we open for the Fall session. We are so excited to have three wonderful teachers in the line up on Monday nights. KOW welcomes a new teacher, Margaret Wohlford, a veteran performer and dance instructor hailing from California originally, a member of District Tap, and holding a degree in dance.
