DC Arts Studios is an arts incubator providing work spaces for artists of all disciplines, creative agencies, and arts organizations. We also provide exhibition opportunities and professional support, and we foster connections between our working artists so that they can collaborate and grow in their practice.

Join us for the opening reception on Friday, May 24, 6-8pm, and an artist talk on Friday, May 31 from 6-8pm.
Artist Jonathan Ege juxtaposes the instantaneous and impermanent against the durational and enduring in this playful exhibit of portraits on canvas, presented in the guise of a polaroid snapshot.

Meet the more than 40 artists whose works encompass many different mediums - oil painters, acrylic painters, fiber artists, photographers, mixed media artists and more! Artwork large and small will be available for purchase. Commissions also accepted. The event is free and open to the public.

Fantastic talk with the artists in the “Vantage Points: Women Artists and the Landscape” exhibit. Led by moderator Christian Wulffen, the artists - Mei Mei Chang, Martha Crawley, Nancy Randa, Katharine Shuman, and Katie Jett Walls - shared their artistic influences.

The closing reception for Vantage Points: Women Artists and the Landscape will include a vibrant poetry reading from DC-area poets with a focus on themes of nature and ecology to enhance our engagement with the artwork in the show. We hope you can join this special collaborative event!

Standing room only for artist talk at the . Her exhibit Noisecape II is up until mid June. You can see the exhibit Friday evenings from 7 to 9 pm or by appointment. She hopes NOISESCAPE II will bring a heightened awareness to the battle for inner quietude.
Mei Mei Chang's Noisescape II opening reception was great. Music, performance artists and a raffle and great art of course.
