Job Description
Come join our team. The Washington County Habitat for Humanity ReStore is currently looking to fill both full-time and part-time box truck driver positions to assist with picking up donations in our local community.

Responsibilities include:
- Driving box truck to and from donor homes/businesses
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Loading/unloading donations safely
- Customer service
- Various other tasks inside the store

Skills/Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license (Required)
- Must meet insurance requirements with regard to previous driving record
- One year experience driving box truck (Preferred but not required)
- Must be able to lift 75-100 lbs
- Reliable transportation to and from work

Salary/hourly wage is competitive and based on work record

Job Description: Washington County Habitat for Humanity is seeking a Restore Operations Support position. WCHfH operates a non-profit home improvement store and donation center (Restore) that sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories and building materials to the public. Proceeds from the Restore support the Habitat mission of building simple, decent affordable homes for partner families. This position will support all on-going operations functions of the Restore. A principle focus of the position is to maintain and develop new networks of local businesses and individuals who donate goods and materials to the ReStore for resale. The position will develop methods to connect with donors, provide follow-up to incoming calls, and arrange for timely pickup of donations. The position will assist during the pickup process as required. The position will also support the operation of the ReStore including inventory management, point of sales, store stocking and appearance, and customer relations. The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills, be creative in finding new revenue opportunities, and have good organizational skills. Positive energy and being supportive of the Habitat mission is required. A high school diploma is required. Post-secondary education is desirable. Salary shall be determined based on the skills and abilities of the applicant. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God’s love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

Habitat for Humanity operates a unique retail store at 1001 East Maiden Street, Washington, PA. Donated home improvement and building material items are recycled through sales to the general public. Please call the Donations Coordinator at 724 -503 -4416 if you have items to donate. Volunteers are needed in the store to assist customers and to help with pick -up of donated items.

Using Volunteer workers and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds simple, decent, affordable houses for partner families. Homes are sold to partner families with a no -profit, zero percent mortgages. Homeowners’ monthly mortgage payments are used to build more Habitat houses. PARTNER means that the qualifying family agrees to work with Habitat by completing 350 – 500 hours of sweat equity in the building of their Habitat home as well as attending budgeting and credit counseling workshops.
