Our umbrella organization, the Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group, stopped by the Behavioral and Social Sciences Career Fair at West Virginia University today to promote our open Americorps VISTA positions! We'll be on the move to the WestPACS Career Fair at the Monroeville Convention Center on October 12th from 10 am - 2 pm! If you know someone who is a current college student or a post-graduate and interested in community development, we'd love to meet them!

A successful first night of our Jumpstart Backpack Program! A big thanks to the Citizens Library and to all of the wonderful students who came out!

We'll be back on Wednesday (8/10) from 4-6 p.m. so we hope to hand out more bags!

We've been working hard to get the materials together, and the day is finally here! Today is the first day of our Jumpstart Backpack Program at the Citizen's Library in Washington from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for pre-k/elementary students!

We hope to see you there! If you can't make it tonight, we will also be continuing to hand out supplies at the same time and location this Wednesday!

Our team was able to attend the 2022 Strong Awards Pittsburgh this past week to learn more about the Strong Women, Strong Girls organization! These amazing women are such an inspiration!

Come out and receive free school supplies and backpacks for your Pre-K/Elementary student before classes begin! We're hosting the Jumpstart Backpack Program at the Citizens Library in Washington on August 8th and August 10th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. ✏️
