If you are getting rid of your gently used tall dressers, chests of drawers, and nightstands, we would love to take them off your hands! Did you know House of Hope furnishes all the apartments for the families with everything they need? When they successfully complete the program, they take everything with them! This is possible thanks to generous donors and volunteers ❤

*Framing Hope is a partnership with Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity to create a path to homeownership for single mothers.
House of Hope's Empowerment Series includes a 5-week Wellness at Work class! House of Hope's Wellness Case Manager and trained volunteers provide group education and individualized education to empower single mothers to achieve their best professional and personal selves! This is in partnership with local businesses who provide the time and space for this class onsite for single mothers in their employ. When women successfully complete the series, they earn a $500 scholarship toward housing, health, or transportation. Win-Win! 🙌

*House of Hope's Pillars program provides women ages 18-24 who experienced out of home placement or aged out of foster care with transitional housing, individualized support, and comprehensive programming as they transition to adulthood.
In July, House of Hope served 51 women and families! The most served in one month EVER! We are so grateful for the volunteers, donors, and supporters that make it possible for us to do this important work!
We are completely out of quarters and gas only cards! House of Hope participants earn points in our programs and use them to redeem quarters for laundry and $10 gas cards for gas. If anyone has quarters to spare or willing to purchase a $10 gas only card next time you fill up, we would be so grateful!!!
Check out this cool activity kiddos did in House of Hope's Children's Program! Kids named things that make them special, then colored a piece of their heart ❤ Children's programming is designed to build resilience and give kids tools for managing big feelings through the power of play and trauma-responsive activities.
