Your neighbors at the Church Row Food Nook would like to wish all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It has been a good year for this newly established food pantry to serve the community. Thank you Northeast Iowa Food Bank for providing the food that fills our shelves for families in the neighborhood. A very big thank you, as well, to Waterloo First United Methodist Church for hosting the pantry as a welcoming door to all. AND a huge thank you to our volunteers that make this possible by running the pantry every week!!! See you next year.

Happy Thanksgiving from your friends at our neighborhood food pantry! We wish all our neighbors in Waterloo a Happy Thanksgiving this year! Our Food Nook will be closed this week on Thursday (11/24). We will be open the following week on Thursday (12/1) at 9:30am-10:30am.
Please visit the Northeast Iowa Food Bank facility on LaFayette in East Waterloo this coming week and ask about the Thanksgiving Food Box drive.
The location of the Church Row Food Nook is 614 Randolph Street. Enter the doors facing Randolph Street (building facing northeast direction). A sign will be set up outside the door welcoming you in. The pantry is open Thursdays weekly from 9:30-10:30AM and every 2nd Saturday from 10-11AM.

๐Did you know it will only costs .25 cents for youth under the age of 18 to ride MET Transit from June โ August this summer? That is cheaper than a tank of gas and a great life lesson in how to use public transportation for youth to experience! They do ask that Pre-teens are accompanied by an adult.

We are here to serve you when you need us! Everyone is welcome. Come to the Waterloo First United Methodist Church on Thursdays at 9:30am to 10:30am and every second Saturday at 10am. Come get a food package (1 per household). If you're new just fill out an information card to help the mission of the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. All are welcome and we look forward to meeting you!
