Third, anyone/everyone that plans to stand outside the store over the next few days, please, I am begging you, remain peaceful. If anything gets weird, message me, go upstairs and let Erika know, or call Waterville PD if needed. My babies deserve their quality mom time over our long weekend, and keeping things peaceful at the store is my number one ask 🫶🏼

Small business friends. Check your money, and ALWAYS trust your gut

Last night just before close, I was handed a $100 bill that my gut instantly told me was fake. It looked almost perfect. Passed the immediate ink test, but didn’t feel like a regular bill, and you can see where the ink from my money marker did not disappear once it fully dried down. I have been in contact with local law enforcement so that they can take it and do what they do.

For some, $100 is a drop in the bucket, but for some small businesses, a $100 hit, especially this time of year, can truly hurt them more than you know. Cash is one of the few things that always helps a small business, when card processing fees are constantly rising, but situations like this is why we see more and more establishments that are card only.
