Train, train, train......USCG Aux Flotilla 41-05 had the privilege of receiving Life Support - CPR/AED training and recertification from instructor Commodore (past) & Evergreen Fire Department Division Chief Tom Mullally, who took us deep into CPR and the use of the AED. Excellent training. Great time.....THANKS Chief !
On Wednesday morning at USCG Station Kenosha, District 9 West of the USCG Auxiliary had the honor of presenting to over a dozen experienced 9WR Auxiliarists the distinguished U.S. Coast Guard Boat Force Operations Insignia. The Boat
Force Operations insignia is intended to identify those Coast Guard personnel currently working in the boat force operations field and to recognize the commitment of Coast Guard members who have repeatedly served in the community. This is a rare recognition, and the individuals have committed hundreds of hours to serve the marine community. Bravo Zulu !
The harbor and lake are warming up, and so is the boating season across the Midwest....hopefully safely! This past Monday, USCG Aux Flotilla 41-05 had the honor of receiving the 2024 National Safe Boating Week Proclamation from Waukegan Mayor Ann B. Taylor. Staff officers were on hand to receive the proclamation. (Pictured below: Jim Hurster, FSO-PA, Ron Aidikonis, FSO-HR, Jim Stahl, FVC and Flotilla Commander John Bruhn. )
