Natalia Bonilla, translator for the School District of Waukesha, has been named employee of the month. She has translated more than 900 documents for the district, and her specialized skills in both English and Spanish ensure that the Waukesha’s curriculum is responsive to the growing Dual Language Program.
Her service has been instrumental in the outreach efforts to our multilingual community during the referendum process and in the ongoing efforts at each of our schools to ensure inclusive graduations, book clubs, parent meetings, student ceremonies, and performances. Natalia has unique linguistic and content skills in science and mathematics, and she is able to make resources available to our students who learn these content areas in Spanish. Congratulations, Natalia!
