Yesterday, January 14th was National Dress Your Pet Day!
We encouraged our TC staff to participate and submit pictures of their pets in peak fashion and were NOT disappointed!
We hope this brightens up your Monday!
We are overwhelmed by the support we've received so far and there's still time to donate! Most of our kids would wish for a family, to go home, and love. To try and ease their pain, we would love to give them a holiday season that they've never gotten to experience!
We are hoping to give the children an extra special holiday season, please consider donating 🎁
Happy Halloween! Our kiddos have had a LOT of festivity the past week or so with the holiday: they were able to go to a large trick or treat event downtown, see their pumpkin creations at night, trick or treat at the office, and even do some trick or treating in the local neighborhood!
A big thanks to all our staff for helping the kids pick out their costumes and giving them these fun opportunities - everything turned out great!
A big thank you to Tayonna at Cookies and Moore for donating some Halloween cookies for the kids to decorate for our Halloween Party! The kids enjoyed decorating them - and eating them!

What did the pumpkin say to the pumpkin carver? Cut it out!
Last week Miller Pumpkins came to our school to do a demonstration for our younger kiddos at Unit 4 and 5. Yesterday, our "big kids" at Unit 1 and Unit 3 got to go to where the Miller Pumpkin Magic happens and carve their own pumpkins! This field trip was a big hit and the kids all had a great time using their creativity and participating in typical holiday traditions! - you can see it in those big smiles!
A huge thank you to Jim and the rest of his pumpkin team for hosting - they did wonderful with our kiddos and this will certainly be a memory they don't forget!
Thank you to the Waupaca Fire Station for giving us a tour of the station! The kids always enjoy field trips for school and enjoyed it a lot!
Our summer school theme last week was all about camping! The kids wrote in daily journals and completed themed activities throughout the week to learn all about going camping. At the end of the week, they were able to "camp out" for an afternoon in the backyard of one of our units! The kids were able to collect sticks to have a real campfire, roast some marshmallows to make s'mores, set up a big tent and listen to camping stories!
Happy Fourth of July!
We've been celebrating the long holiday weekend with a program wide cookout and trips with some of the kiddos to the local splash pad, a ski show, and to the beach!
Thankful for the staff that coordinate these picnics and outings - the kids really truly enjoy them!
Yesterday was our annual community day to kick off summer school! Local community partners came to TC to give demonstrations about their agencies - the kids had a good time rotating from station to station learning about different programs and businesses in the area.
Special thanks to:

For taking time out of your day to educate and entertain our kiddos- and for our teaching staff for organizing this event! Community Day is always a hit!
Thank you to Main Street Popcorn for letting us take a field trip there today! They were extremely kind and generous!
The kiddos really enjoyed picking out their popcorn flavors, sampling everything, and spending some of their allowance on their wide variety of sweets! One of our kids even said "I wish we could go here EVERY week!"
We recently celebrated staff appreciation week! We celebrated with themed lunches, care packages, thank you notes, free t shirts and raffles!
We are so thankful for the staff and the impact that they make on the lives of our children!
The kiddos have been working hard on their writing at school!
The big kids went to the humane society this week after writing fundraising letters to Tomorrow's Children staff in order to collect donated items to give to the shelter animals.
On top of that, all of the kids were able to become published authors in this year's Space book!
So grateful for our teachers always giving the kids amazing opportunities like these ones!
Happy Earth Day 🌎 a day early!
The kids and staff spent the week doing earth day activities, going to the Recycling Center, and cleaning up our local TC grounds to get ready for spring!
Happy Easter!
Some of our staff went above and beyond making this Easter a special one for our kiddos!
Between celebrating the nice weather and going on a walk off grounds, attending a community Easter event with a petting zoo, prizes, and balloons animals, and even making a TC wide Easter egg hunt on grounds... our staff really are the greatest!
Our Unit 3 girls went on an outing to see "Ice School Musical' this past weekend - it was fun watching the various ages preform and listen to some good music!
Happy St Patrick's Day! 🍀🌈
We are lucky to have such amazing staff that care so much about our kiddos!
Thank you to the wonderful staff at Bank First who kindly donated their Casual for Cause proceeds to TC. We are grateful for your generosity!
Making the best of the fresh snow this weekend! ❄️⛄️
The children spent the month of February learning and and celebrating Black History Month: focusing on peaceful change, important persons that changed history, and soul food! The school was even able to go on a field trip to a black history month pop up exhibit.
The staff have been sure to help prevent the kids from going stir crazy this winter! From going bowling, a trip to the movies, sledding, baking, and making their own play doh and kinetic sand, everyone has been making the most out of the weather!
Badgerland Restoration & Remodeling, we can’t thank you enough for spreading holiday cheer and delivering presents to all the kids at TC today. We are grateful for your overwhelming generosity!
