Today we captured some of the bittersweet moments as our campers said their goodbyes and headed home. The hugs, the tears, and the smiles say it allโCYJ Midwest is more than just a camp; itโs a family. ๐

Today, CYJM was honored to host the Milwaukee community shaliach Noa Gerassi! She even led an optional lunch and learn on Israel current events. Noa was awesome, and our campers asked some great questions!

We have been having an absolute blast so far this summer, making memories and enjoying all the activities! From splashing around in the lake to diving into the muddy fun of our mud pit, our campers are soaking up every moment.

The Midwest Experience
Located in Central Wisconsin, Camp Young Judaea Midwest has provided a Jewish camp experience for children in grades 2-9 for over 40 years. Our beautiful 80-acre lakefront property offers the opportunity to explore, take on new challenges and make friendships that last a lifetime. We offer an elective based camp program featuring water skiing & tubing, archery, a high ropes course, arts, soccer, sailing, nature, drama, basketball, digital media, a makerโs space, swimming, field trips, a zip line and much more.
CYJ Midwest has a community of campers from across the spectrum of Jewish backgrounds. Campers come from over 10 states around the country, France, Israel, and Mexico to join our family of 130 campers per session. We offer a pluralistic approach, which allows campers and staff to learn and grow together while making informed choices about their connection to Judaism and Israel.
We focus on each individual camper to make sure they can be successful while learning to grow within a group setting that fosters our five guiding principles:
