Mountain bike trail at Hartman Creek is closed for spring thaw.
We enjoyed meeting so many new friends & old acquaintances this winter and look forward to riding with you all again soon!

Once again, Ray was out early this morning pushing the fresh snow off the trail. With more snow falling itās going to be soft. Get out and have some fun in the woods!

The fatbike trail was groomed this evening. Early mornings will be the best time to enjoy some late season fatbiking at Hartman Creek!

The winter fatbike trail at Hartman Creek has been packed with the snowmobile. Attempts were made with implements but were unsuccessful in the fresh dry snow.
Expect soft trail conditions for now!

Unfortunately, we didnāt get any new snow in Waupaca. Temps in the 40s and rain have likely created poor conditions for fatbiking at Hartman Creek. If you do decide to venture outā¦.please ride early in the morning before the temps rise above freezing.

The fatbike trail at Hartman Creek is groomed. There are a few icy corners that the snow didnāt stick to. Be mindful of them as you are out.

A good reminder for proper fatbike trail etiquette, especially with warmer weather starting Wednesday.
We will work closely with the park staff to monitor the weather and trail conditions.

A big thank you to Ray and Steve who cleared the trail last night!!
At this time the surface is only packed by snowmobile and there are plenty low hanging trees. Consider giving them a shake as you ride along!
Access is through the group campground and fatbikes only please!

Winter Fatbike update:
We were out tonight and found the trail to be overtaken with snow covered and fallen trees. We spent 3 hours cleaning up what we could but more work needs to be done before we can start grooming. Please be patient as we work to clear the mess.
