Our newest grant program, the Admission Innovation Project, supports efforts by law schools to implement and assess novel approaches to selecting first-year students.

Through this funding opportunity, law schools work with AccessLex researchers to design rigorous studies on the impact of new admission strategies that rely less heavily on standardized tests.

When it comes to LexCon, there is never a dull moment – especially today!

We kicked off day two of LexCon ’24 with our high-energy Wasatch Workout! Then, we moved on to the annual (and eagerly anticipated!) "Ask Chris Chapman Anything" Town Hall meeting.

From there, we jumped into the Genius Hour and afternoon sessions.

But that’s not it ... tonight, we hit the red carpet and had a blast at the Fundance Film Festival, where attendees and team members dressed as their favorite movie characters and celebrities! Awards were given for the best costumes and a fantastic time was had by all. Do you see anyone you recognize? 🤩 Let us know in the comments!

Last but not least, our third and final day of LexCon starts bright and early tomorrow – we can't believe how fast this week is going!

There's so much great stuff to digest from day two of LexCon '24!

Following lunch, we had our afternoon concurrent sessions that featured speakers and panelists who talked about student loan repayment and PSLF, prep, social media content, and a great deal more.

Then we moved on to our Sessions in 30, quick snippets from thought leaders and subject matter experts about impactful presentations, financial planning, and professional writing and development.

And now ... on to Fundance Film Festival! Stay tuned for pictures of this star-studded event later today!

LexCon '24 is moving right along!

This morning's Genius Hour session discussions were, as always, informative and insightful. We're grateful to have such purpose-driven attendees and colleagues who work with some of the most pressing topics impacting the students we serve: academic and bar success, admissions, , student services, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Following the Genius Hour were our next sets of concurrent sessions, with content focused on financial conversations and financial aid appeals, the NextGen bar exam, first-generation students, and student debt to name a few!

Follow us for more updates as the day continues!

Day two of LexCon ’24 is underway!

On top of the various sessions and, of course, the Genius Hour, the day is packed with a whole host of exciting activities!

This morning's “Ask Chris Chapman Anything” Town Hall provided attendees the chance to ask our President and CEO anything, from policy updates to preparing for the NextGen bar exam. Plus, we learned that Chris' favorite football team is the Bengals (but he likes the Eagles too in case you're wondering!).

Enjoy today’s fantastic sessions and activities – you can’t go wrong!
