Happy to see two articles by our own Secretary, and Past Grand Master of CT, Mel Johnson, made it into the CT Freemasons magazine for June of 2023!

RW Morton Katz is a brother of Wyllys-St. Johns #4. The book is sure to be an amazing tale of his life. A copy has already been purchased and will be placed into the lodge library!

RW Brother Morton Katz has just published a book about his experiences as a paratrooper and as a public defender. It is available on Amazon and is a great read. I am about halfway through it and highly recommend it. Brother Katz is a remarkable man. He turns 104 on March 15th. Please comment if you do order and read the book.

The first Stated Communication of Philosophic Lodge of Research for 2023 is This Friday, February 24, at 7:30 PM. Worshipful Master Carl Johnson will be reviewing what this year has in store for PLR. We will also be having a brief presentation and discussion on "What's in a comma?" that goes over comma usage and how this small, insignificant seeming piece of punctuation can have massive results both in Masonry and the world around us. It will be fun and hopefully enlightening.

Light refreshments will be made available as well. I hope to see many of you there,

Wyllys-St. Johns will be hosting our second annual hot sauce tasting Sunday, February 19th!

Cost is the same as last year, $25.00 a person. The event is open to the public! Come on out and warm up with us!

WM Koziara was able to attend this morning (And actually is just off camera to the right side!) and had a great time. The dining room was a constant flow of people coming by to support Fayette 69. I hope some other brothers from WSJ4 were able to attend, and thank you to Hartford-Evergreen Lodge #88 for hosting this amazing event!

There are a few minor business items to cover, followed by an educational program by Worshipful Brother Matthaey.

As many of you have heard, Fayette Lodge 69 in Ellington was targeted by an Arsonist, causing severe damage to the lower level of their building.

Hartford-Evergreen Lodge #88 stepped up to give them somewhere to meet temporarily and is hosting a fundraiser pancake breakfast and silent auction to help them rebuild.

I'm sure they would appreciate a packed house! Please feel free to reach out directly if you have anything you would like to contribute to their silent auction also!

Reminder Brothers! The Trick or Treat for Miracle League event is coming up this Saturday! It would be wonderful to get a few more volunteers to help out WB Duffy, and support a great cause! Please reach out to Bro. Nick or WB Duffy if you're interested.

Brothers, we're looking for volunteers to help out Worshipful Brother Duffy at the Trick-or-Treat for Miracle League event later this month! An announcement will also be made at our next meeting.

On Friday, September 23rd, Wyllys-St. John's will be partnering with Sequin-Level Lodge in Newington to hold a pasta dinner.

Proceeds will benefit the George Washington Masonic National Memorial in Alexandria, Virginia.

All brothers and their families are welcome! Further details will follow.
