Today we remember and honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
#9/11
Today, we mark 23 years since the horrific attacks of 9/11.
We remember and mourn the thousands of lives lost, including the brave firefighters, police officers, and first responders who ran toward danger to save others. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
On this solemn day, let’s reaffirm our commitment to honoring the service of our 9/11 first responders by ensuring they continue to receive the care they rightfully deserve through programs like the World Trade Center Health Program—no matter where they call home.
Many of these brave heroes now live in Florida, especially in Palm Beach County. It's critical we expand the World Trade Center Health Program in Congress beyond New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut to states like Florida, so they continue getting the care they need, wherever they live.
We must never forget the innocent lives lost or the countless heroes that stared evil straight in the face 23 years ago and did not back down. The actions and bravery displayed on September 11th inspired a generation and will always be remembered.
On this day, we remember the lives lost and the heroes who emerged on September 11th, 2001. Let us honor their memory by standing together in unity and hope. As a former first responder we must acknowledged and continue to support those who risked their lives on that day.
Today, as we have done for the last 23 years, and as we will continue to do for years to come, we honor the memory of those who were tragically taken from us on September 11, 2001. We remember the bravery of the first responders, the strength of the survivors, and the unity that emerged from the darkness. Our country will continue to carry their stories in our hearts.
Today, we solemnly reflect on the events of September 11th, 2001. We honor the lives lost, the courageous heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, and the spirit of a nation that stood united in the face of tragedy.
Wishing everyone a Happy Labor Day. I hope you take this time to enjoy the long weekend with your loved ones.
