And we wouldn’t be able to make pretty hair color without Yellow!
I looked up the word ‘yellow’ the other day.
I found so many shades of yellow that they had been distinguished by words like
gold
honey
daffodil.
I found words like fire and sand and champagne and lemon and sunbeam and I even found a song.
Now imagine someone telling yellow that it’s ‘just yellow’.
When yellow is a sunbeam and a daffodil and fire.
When yellow is a song.
Without yellow, we couldn’t make orange and we couldn’t create green and our world would be far less colourful because of it.
Yellow’s true colours are not limited to one thing.
And neither are yours.
Some days you are dark and fiery and intense.
Some days you are rich and bright and vibrant.
Some days you are buttercups and dandelions and some days you are champagne and a song.
And without you, someone’s life would be far less bright and far less beautiful.
You are you as
yellow is yellow.
And the world needs you.
Because, no matter what you think, you are not ‘just you’.
You are so much more.

These Buffalo Cauliflower Bites are not only keto-friendly but also a crowd-pleaser. They offer that classic buffalo wing flavor without the carb-heavy breading. Enjoy the game and the delicious snacks! 🏈🍽️
Buffalo Cauliflower Bites Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 medium-sized cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
1 cup almond flour
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup buffalo sauce (sugar-free)
2 tablespoons melted butter (or ghee)
Optional: Blue cheese dressing or ranch for dipping
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
Prepare the Cauliflower:
Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
Make the Batter:
In a bowl, mix the almond flour, almond milk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a batter.
Coat the Cauliflower:
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, making sure it's well coated.
Bake the Cauliflower:
Place the coated cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce:
While the cauliflower is baking, mix the buffalo sauce and melted butter in a bowl.
Coat with Buffalo Sauce:
Once the cauliflower is done, transfer it to a large mixing bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the cauliflower and toss until each piece is coated.
Serve and Enjoy:
Arrange the buffalo cauliflower bites on a serving platter. You can serve them with a side of keto-friendly blue cheese dressing or ranch for dipping.

On Friday, October 6th, from 7 AM to 7 PM, the West Des Moines Police Department is hosting an event to support our local West Des Moines Human Services Personals Pantry: Pack the Patrol Car.
Police personnel will be outside the West Des Moines Police Department waiting to accept donations from the community to Pack a Patrol Car full of items to stock up Human Services Personals Pantry. We hope to Pack the Patrol Car so full we can’t shut the doors!
