After multiple people asking when I’m announcing these, I finally sat down and picked out a few dates so you all can get on the schedule! It’s fast approaching and these fill fast, so please grab a slot while you can!

Below are the details and sign up links for each date!

🍁 All minis are $275 for 15 minutes, with a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold you slot via venmo (amanda-basteen). The remaining 225 is due at the session.

🌲 You will receive all photos taken during that time, edited as digital hi res images with printing rights.

🍁 You can use these sessions for anything! Family portraits, couples, pets, kids, or headshots!

🍁The fall colors mini date is Sunday, October 6 at a location still tbd. I will let participants know the week of when I decide which park is prettiest for color! The timing should be perfect for lots of fall color! Sign up link below.

🌿The other mini date is Sunday, September 22. This location will be for those that don’t care too much about fall color and will be held at Big Creek state park. The location has a beautiful serene lake with tall ivory grass fields and jetty’s and beaches that are lake side!

🌲The Christmas mini is on Sunday, October 27 at a Christmas tree farm in Cambridge, Iowa! Location details in the sign up link. I do these early so we don’t freeze and kiddos can cooperate! You can’t tell the temp in the tree farm!

Merry & Austin’s Colorado elopement at the beautiful ranch is done and on the blog! They started the morning getting ready at the most epic Airbnb. Then we had a private horseback ride through the mountains to the upper ranch where we met up with family and friends for dinner and a special horse drawn wagon ride! Yesterday Merry, Austin and I took a trail ride on horses up into the mountains to exchange vows privately and meet their families for a horse drawn wagon and dinner. It was surreal how beautiful it was. Everywhere you looked was just stunning. So glad I got to witness such beauty and be a part of their special day! Here are some favs so far!

Happy wedding day to Merry and Austin! Yesterday we climbed straight up a mountain (1035 feet) to Bear Creek Falls to get some epic photos and it was so worth it! Today we have trail riding on horse back in the mountains to say some personal vows and then a horse drawn wagon ride to a special dinner at a ranch with family. Ready to take more epic pics! Iowa & Midwest Wedding Photographer | Steph & Sam - Iowa Wedding Photographer - Amanda Basteen Steph and Sam eloped in her parents home in Virginia and didn't have any real photos to show for it. So when they came to town for a week, they hired me to take their dream photos. Although originally planned in Okoboji, we ended up using Saylorville due to flooding. It still worked out beautifully

Went to the farmland Jess and Nick know and love for some beautiful engagement photos last night!! The cows were very curious and their pup was the cutest! It was a perfect night! Can’t wait for their big day!

Steph and Sam got married in her parents living room in Virginia and didn’t have any photos to commemorate. We had a big plan to do them in Okoboji on a different boat but flooding changed all of that. So before they left town, we tried again at Saylorville and it did not disappoint. These two were fire.
