I felt honored today to drop off teacher appreciation gift to Highlands Elementary school with my good friend and coworker Lisa Post. It's been a tough year for home buyers in this crazy market. Most deals are "best and final", usually over asking and sellers in the driver's seat. So, my closing yesterday was especially welcomed. Of course, the fact that my buyers and the sellers shared the same last name was a harbinger of things to come. Both sides were kind and considerate. I don't think I've ever seen a cleaner house than this one or a nicer seller and equally affable Realtor (sellers' son!).
I am sad about one thing, I will miss my buyers, two of the best people I've worked with.
