Join us on an overnight bus trip to visit the breathtaking natural wonder of Niagara Falls. We will travel by a 56-passenger coach to Niagara Falls, NY where we will check into our rooms at the Holiday Inn, located right at the entrance of the state park. You will have free time to admire the falls, visit the many observation towers, ride the famous Maid of the Mist, or explore downtown Niagara, NY. The state park is free to enter and a free shuttle is available to take you between the park sites, the hotel, and downtown Niagara. All activities are at your own cost.

Summer Horsemanship Week
This is a ground-based lesson(s) to familiarize those with little to no experience about horses, how to handle them and how to care for them. Basic introduction to horses, handling, haltering, leading, grooming and confidence and understanding of them. Very basic introduction to tack, horse riding, how to cue, mounting and dismounting.
Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes for your safety and comfort. We will provide SEI certified safety helmets.

Adult Soccer! Ages 18 and up are welcome to participate. Take some time for yourself - - come out for some fun in this drop-in format program where participants will play against each other at the Carroll County Sports Complex (Field #6). This program in intended to give adults the opportunity to have fun and play soccer.
A full-size field (with lights as needed) is available to all participants. Bring your own soccer ball if you have one & bottled water. Participants may want to wear a white shirt and bring another dark-colored shirt to play against each other.

Come out, be with friends, and cheer with us! We will be teaching basic cheerleading skills and drills, and have fun outdoor activities, and arts & crafts each day. Need to come in a T-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes. Water will be provided but you need to bring a bagged lunch and a water bottle. We will be outside all day so wear/bring sunscreen.

Rec & Parks provides 10-passenger van transportation. Meet at the Robert Moton Center, 300 S. Center St. Westminster, MD 21157, by 8:15am for an 8:30am departure to Lancaster, PA. After the show, we will stop at the Miller's Smorgasbord Restaurant for lunch before returning to the Robert Moton Center. The lunch cost is on your own. The approximate return time to Westminster is 4:30pm.

Escape the July heat by exploring the underground Luray Caverns, the largest caverns in the eastern United States. Walk along well-lighted, paved walkways that guide you through cathedral-sized rooms with ceilings 10-stories high, towering stone formations, and natural wonders at every turn. The enormous chambers are filled with stone columns, shimmering draperies and crystal-clear pools.
Travel is in a 52-passenger charter school sus with A/C and seats will be assigned. Food is on your own. Meet at the Carroll County Farm Museum parking lot, 500 S. Center Street, Westminster, MD. 21157 no later than 6:45am (bus will depart at 7:00am).
