The Core Space
We know working at a church is beautiful, hard, messy, hurtful, and rewarding. We know it can be lone It is incorporated in almost every movement of The Body.
The Core is a complex series of muscles, extending far beyond the middle, including everything up to the limbs. The Core can act as a stabilizer for movement, transfer force from one to another, or initiate movement itself.
Say it again and again.

Make it easier for folks to find you and find the things they need from your site or even your social pages
“According to the teachings of Jesus, churches should be the safest places for the vulnerable to be,” she said. “It hasn’t been the case in the pandemic, and that’s been hard. I worry about a lasting impact that could have on my kids. And me. On any of us.”

FYI-It’s not divisive to talk about it. We must address it to move forward and heal and continue the work that is set before us. Plus, accountability.

Great reminder from about creating space for others to be honest ( not hurtful but truthful)
These days it’s easy to feel helpless. These are the best times to take a step back and take inventory of where you are and where you have been and what you personally are capable of doing. So what can you do with what you can do? Artwork by

Leaders, if you need steps on how to move forward in spirit and in truth, share some tangible things you can do to get started.
I’ve received a lot of emails from churches this week speaking on the injustices in our nation from the past week and a half. The one thing that I’ve noticed is how vague their messages are against racism and murder of black and brown bodies. They dance around the issue without acknowledging that all lives can’t matter until all black lives matter, or that we are all made in the image of our creator and it absolutely breaks the heart of God to see the creation that was made fail to really see each other. There’s no space today for vagueness because of fear of losing donors and financial support. Call out injustice with boldness. Jesus made the comfortable uncomfortable. Jesus called out the wrong in society and has called us to do the same.

What are you giving your peace to right now? You are in control of where your peace goes.
So many of us are in crunch time in our jobs at churches. It’s pretty easy to forget to take care of ourselves and rest. I know it took me almost 10 years to understand how much I was missing. So this is your invitation to slow down and get quiet and embrace the season for yourself.
